TED Talk.Magda Sayeg's story andunderstanding yarn bombing

This Ted Talk about how the whole phenomenon of yarn bombing or urban crochet started is not new, but I thought there was no one better than Magda Sayeg herself to explain what we’re talking about.

Personally, I really enjoy coming across this urban art when I travel. I also confess to being a graffiti lover. Both forms of expression enrich me as a graphic designer and bring me closer to what I consider to be a more real art.

From an aesthetic point of view, knitfiti makes our cities and towns a warmer, more human space and the colour of the fabrics surely makes our souls smile.
